May's Monthly Chapter Meeting will be held virtually this Saturday, May 9th starting at 11a via Zoom. Our topic is "The Art of Adaptation - How to Turn Your Novel into a Screenplay to Sell" and will be presented by screenwriter and author Michael Lucker
MICHAEL LUCKER began writing songs for girls he had crushes on in the fourth grade. It nearly worked, so he went on to write articles for the school paper, plays for the drama club, and commercials for the cable station. After graduating from Boston University’s College of Communication, fate and a Mercury Capri took him to Los Angeles, where he somehow landed a job as an assistant to Steven Spielberg before embarking on a career writing movies for Disney, DreamWorks, Paramount, Fox, and Universal.
