Metroguard regrets to announce the passing of one of the members of our organization. Security Officer, Coleen Finch, passed away this week. Coleen’s performance excellence along with her sense of humor will truly be missed. Rest in peace, Colleen.

This is our new bed bug canine, Addie on his first call for a bed bug sweep today. No bed bugs here! Good job, Addie!

On a routine house check this weekend, our security officer stumbled upon a bad furnace oil leak in the basement of a home. He called the homeowner and was able to mitigate the process of stopping the leak and getting the necessary resources to the house before any serious damage was done to the home. A word of thanks and great job are in store for Patrol Officer Lapman. We say good bye to Cars 1 and 7 this week as Metroguard looks to make some fleet updates this year. The cars were proudly donated to Kars4Kids!

Metroguard was proud to recently sponsor a hole in the New Canaan Police Cops & Robbers Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the outing went to the New Canaan Police PBA. We are always happy to be partners with our men and women in Law Enforcement

Metroguard would like to introduce you to Michael. He is one of our armed guards that protects one of our schools and houses of worship. Michael is celebrating five years with Metroguard and we, along with our clients, would like to thank him for his dedicated service!

It was training day for our armed officers this week. Our officers are offered fi****ms training four times a year and are mandated to attend at least two sessions, however most come to all four. This sets Metroguard high and above the rest! All of our training is in house and conducted by our very own President, Dave Ferris, who is a certified fi****ms instructor!
