Janice Lee Hicks, 73, of Trumann passed away at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas on April 15, 2026. She was born on September 27, 1952 to Hubert and Thelma Smith. Janice was a faithful member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Trumann, Arkansas, where she had attended since 1970. She shared 54 devoted years of marriage with her husband, Charley Hicks, and together they built a life centered on love, faith, and steadfast companionship. She was a proud and caring mother to her daughter, Carissa Steed(Kevin);and she found great joy in her granddaughters, Emma Specht and Everly Specht; brother, Donald D. Smith(Shelby); and sister, Glenda Bledsoe (Danny)
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Thurman M. Smith. Her family was one of the greatest blessings in her life, and she treasured the bonds she shared with each of them.

Rev 21:4, 5 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
True & faithful.
