Farm Watch Alert!
There was a report of theft S. of Urbana in the S. Dugan road area. Multiple cars were broken into during the night of August 9th, early morning of August 10th, and items were stolen. No description of perpetrators given.

Farm Watch Alert!
There was a report to the Champaign County Sheriff's office on June 1, 2019 of an attempted theft of a tractor out of a field on Mutual Catawba Road, Urbana at around 4:45 p.m. The men were driving a red Ram four door truck which appeared to be a newer model.

Several thefts in the area of Urbana Woodstock Pike and Yocom Road have been reported over the holiday weekend. Vehicles were entered and property such as credit cards, electronics, and money were removed from vehicles. There was also an ATV stolen, however it was later recovered in a tree line not far from the victim’s address on Yocom Rd. A report of theft from a construction service job site on September 28, 2018.
The padlock on the equipment trailer was cut off and power tools, batteries and rigging equipment were missing.
The location of the trailer was on Route 4, northeast of Mechanicsburg.

The Sheriff's department has informed us of a report of theft of many power tools on Rosedale Road, Mechanicsburg. This incident occurred in January.

The Sheriff's department has informed us of a report of a barn break in and theft of many power tools on State Route 187, Mechanicsburg. This break in occurred the end of December.

In September Champaign County Farm Bureau presented a $2500 reward for information that led to the arrest and conviction for a burglary on a members property back in January.

Farm Watch Alert! Break-ins and Theft
**UPDATE - AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE**
The Champaign County Sheriff's Department has seen an increase in breaking and entering and theft in the Cable, Woodstock, and Saint Paris area and are looking for an early model Ford pickup truck, white in color with an extended cab.
Witnesses have described it as a possible Ford F-150 model. The truck has been noted as being occupied by two younger males. If anyone observes a vehicle matching this description or similar, please contact the Champaign County Sheriff Department at 937-652-1311.
These breaking and entering and theft incidents have occurred April 10-17.

Farm Watch Alert! Barn Break-ins and Theft
The Champaign County Sheriff's Department has seen an increase in barn breaking and entering and theft of tools.

Oct. 28 - Hunt Clymer Rd., Mechanisburg -Barn Break-in and theft of various tools.

Nov. 2 - Nine Mile Road, Urbana - Barn Break-in and theft of various power tools, tiller, and fish finder.

Nov. 2 - W. State Route 29, Urbana - Breaking and entering.

****Farm Watch Alert!
Incident occurred August 15th on State Route 245, North Lewisburg near Union County.
White male suspect removed Fedex package and removed four 5-gallon gas cans from the inside of the barn.
Suspect vehicle is a white 4-door. Suspect spent over 13 minutes on the property walking around looking into the house windows and walked into the attached garage of the residence. Still trying to obtain the video footage.

*Break-in of an unsecured barn. Theft of 2006 Honda Juvenile Quad, Stihl Farm Boss chainsaws, Stihl Weedeater, and extension chainsaw.
