Dear Patrons, to accommodate a private community program, our library will close at 1:30 p.m. today, Saturday, Nov. 22. It will reopen on Sunday, at 10:30 a.m. Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Bharatiya Community Library is proud to have 25 student volunteers, ranging in age from 7 to 18, serving our patrons. Today, we wish them the very best as they start the new school year or begin their college careers!

The library will be closed next weekend, Aug. 30-31, for the Labor Day holiday. It will reopen on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Dear Patrons, On Sunday, Aug. 10, the library space will be closed, but you can find us at our Anand Bazaar booth, located in the lower rotunda, outside the banquet hall shopping area, starting at 11 a.m. We'll have toys and puzzles available for children, and volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the library. New temple members can sign up for a library card to take advantage of borrowing privileges! The library will reopen for its regular hours on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 10:30 a.m.

Hello friends, the library will be closed July 5 and 6, so that our volunteers can spend the holiday weekend with their families. We look forward to seeing you the following weekend.

Once again, because of weather conditions, we expect the library to have limited or interrupted service today, Sunday, Feb. 16. Our volunteers have been instructed to come in only if their families feel conditions are safe to drive in. Their safety is our No. 1 priority

Dear Library Patrons,
Because of expected snowfall today, Saturday, Feb. 15, the library will close at 12:30 p.m. Weather permitting, we will reopen Sunday at 10:30 a.m. for our regular schedule.

Dear Patrons: The library will be closed Dec 28 and 29 for the holidays. We will reopen for the new year on Jan. 4, 2025. See you then, and please remember to renew your temple membership for 2025 to continue enjoying your library borrowing privileges. Thank you for your support!

We just received this shipment of Ghee Happy's Diwali Coloring Books, by celebrated illustrator Sanjay Patel, and they're waiting for you at the Bharatiya Community Library!

During the weekend of Nov. 2-3, 2024, the first 10 patrons to sign up for a new Bharatiya Temple membership and a library card will receive a free copy of the coloring book. (For new members only.)

Remember: Temple memberships initiated in November remain in force through the end of 2025, and you can begin enjoying borrowing privileges at the library as soon as you sign up.
