🤠✨🎸 BOOTS, BLING, AND BIG DREAMS! 🎸✨🤠

Last night, our Team Intensity families gathered to celebrate an incredible season at our Nationals Send-Off Party! 💜

What a year it has been. From the first practice to the final routines, these athletes have poured their hearts into every skill, every correction, every fall, every comeback, and every victory. They've earned trophies, conquered fears, developed new skills, built lifelong friendships, and created memories that will last far beyond this season.

But behind every athlete is a village of people cheering them on, and we want to take a moment to celebrate the coaches who have invested so much into this program and these athletes. 💜

🌟 Coach Traci
🌟 Coach Angie
🌟 Coach Kelsi
🌟 Coach Shea

Thank you for your countless hours, your encouragement, your dedication, and for always wanting the very best for every athlete who walks through our doors.

Now it's time to trade Missouri for Tennessee! 🎶🤠

In less than a week, Team Intensity will be headed to Knoxville, Tennessee for Nationals! We know they'll bring the sparkle of the disco ball, the rhythm of Music City, the heart of the Smoky Mountains, and the confidence to shine on the national floor. 🎸🪩⭐

Whether they bring home banners, medals, or simply unforgettable memories, they have already made us proud. Their hard work, perseverance, sportsmanship, and love for this sport have made this season one to remember.

So let's crank up the country music, dust off those cowboy boots, and send our athletes off with all the love, luck, and positive vibes we can muster! 💜🎸🪩

Knoxville, get ready... Team Intensity is bringing the intensity!

🎶 "Let's Go Girls..." 🎶

Cue the Shania Twain.

Join us in wishing all of our athletes, coaches, and families a wonderful Nationals week! 💜🏆✨

The lost and found basket is overflowing!! Please check it out if you are missing anything. While we are on break, we will empty the contents of the basket and donate all items that are not picked up.

Thanks!

More great words from Mr. Rhee Gold! This is so true. So many little ones cry at first - and then before you know it, they are on our competitive dance teams!

There is something so cool that happens in a dance studio, and if you have been around this life long enough, you have seen it many times.
A child walks in for the first time holding onto their parent with that look that says, “You are staying, right?” They are not sure about the teacher. They are not sure about the room. They are not sure about the other kids. And they are definitely not sure that this whole dance thing was a good idea.
So we take our time. We smile. We encourage. We do not rush it because we know that, for some children, just walking into the studio is already a really big deal.
And then, little by little, something changes.
The child who once cried at the door starts walking in on their own. They know where to put their dance bag. They walk in looking for the teacher’s smile instead of looking back for the parent. They find their friends. They start telling the parent what they learned instead of asking if they have to go.
And then one day, that same child walks into the studio like they own the place.
The parent is hoping for a hug or a wave, and the child is already halfway to class like, “I’ve got this.”
How cool is that!
That is the kind of growth we should never take for granted. It may look small to someone else, but to that child, walking in without hesitation is a really big deal.
And to the parent watching it happen, it is huge.
Because confidence does not always arrive with a big announcement. Sometimes it shows up in a child who lets go of a parent’s hand. Sometimes it shows up in a child who walks in looking for the teacher. Sometimes it shows up in a child who stands a little taller because they know they belong.
That is why dance matters.
We are not only teaching children to move.
We are helping them become brave.
And that is a pretty amazing part of the journey. Have an awesome day and enjoy the journey--Rhee ✌💕

More great words from my mentor Rhee Gold!

There is a child who walked into your studio this season carrying more than a dance bag.
Maybe they were nervous.
Maybe they didn’t feel like they fit anywhere.
Maybe they were having a tough time at school.
Maybe they were the kid who didn’t get picked first, didn’t learn as fast, didn’t stand in the front, or didn’t quite know how special they were yet.
And then they walked through your doors.
They heard the music.
They moved.
They laughed.
They found a friend.
They found a teacher who saw something in them.
They found a place where, for that hour, they didn’t have to be anything but themselves.
That is what you built.
Yes, you taught dance.
Yes, you made corrections.
Yes, you created schedules, handled parents, answered emails, fixed costumes, planned recitals, solved problems, and probably wondered a few times if you could keep doing it all.
But somewhere in the middle of all of that, you gave young people a safe place.
A place where they could grow.
A place where they could belong.
A place where they could lose themselves in the music and discover a little more of who they are.
Please don’t rush past that.
Please don’t make it small.
Because in a world where kids are carrying more than we sometimes know, your studio may be the place they breathe a little easier.
You are not just teaching steps.
You are not just building dancers.
You are helping to build confident, kind, brave young people who will carry what they learned from you long after the music stops.
That is the work.
That is the gift.
That is the safe place you built.
How cool is that? Have a great day and enjoy the journey--Rhee

To our Thunderstruck families — THANK YOU. 💜⚡

I had over 145 pictures and videos to go through the past 24 hours, and every single one reminded us why we do this. The smiles, the screams, the tears, the excitement… it was pure magic watching your athletes become officially Thunderstruck.
And now… it’s time to introduce the teams of Thunderstruck. ⚡

To our returning families, thank you for your hard work, dedication, loyalty, and all the cheer spirit you bring into this gym year after year. You help create the culture that makes this program so special.

To the families who are new to Aim High Elite, thank you for trusting us. We know joining a new gym, trying something new, and opening your hearts to a new program can feel exciting and scary all at once. Thank you for taking that leap of faith with us. We hope to give your child a place where they feel confident, supported, challenged, loved, and proud to wear purple.

We are not perfect. But we love your kids, and we LOVE cheer. We promise to pour our hearts into this season and work every day to give your family a year to remember.

This is more than a team.
This is more than a season.
THIS. IS. THUNDERSTRUCK. ⚡💜

Before we share the full squad reveal compilation, we have to take a moment to appreciate the magic behind it all. ✨⚡️

Last night, this video was sent to our cheer families… and while the rest of the world slept, our coaches hit the roads. Through the middle of the night and into the early morning hours, they drove door to door making sure every single athlete woke up to a squad reveal waiting on their front door. 💜

And somehow, it feels only fitting that it all happened in the middle of thunder and lightning storms rolling through the night. ⛈️⚡️

Because that’s the electricity of Thunderstruck. 🤘🏼

That’s the heart behind this program.
That’s coaches who go above and beyond to create memories these kids will never forget.

We are endlessly proud of the staff who pour so much love, time, energy, and excitement into this season opener. Thank you for making the magic happen and for bringing the spark to every athlete and family. ⚡️

The countdown is over.
The season begins now.

Welcome to Thunderstruck. 💥
