Making sun tea takes me back to a time when I was a kid…and everything seemed so much simpler.
We’re always in a rush to get through our days and to hurry things along. Sometimes it’s good to take a minute and do something slow and easy. Like make sun tea.

Sun Tea ☀️ ☕️
Does it taste better than traditional heat steeped tea? Probably not. But, there’s something about making sweet tea the slow way.
It’s been like 25 years or more since I’ve had sun tea made on our front porch. I still remember the glass gallon pitcher that had fruit decals painted on it that was moms.
I personally hate sweet tea…I know, I know—I’m not a true midwestern gal but it’s my preference for just regular old non sweetened ice tea. Just like my momma likes.
I just checked the stand and I still have some sweet treats stocked. Especially this cake—which is pretty yummy and screams SUMMER TIME!
Grab a slice. There’s still time before it’s dark to grab a dessert tonight!

Late —I’m talking past my old lady bed time—last night we got the stand filled up and ready to go!
Pre-orders are on the bottom shelf and everything else is free game!
Enjoy.

It’s becoming one of my favorites with the warm maple syrup and caramel pecan profile. It’s crunchy on the edges and still chewy inside.

I hate the packaging phase of baking day. But, at least I’m done baking and almost done with packing it all!
I’ll share a video later tonight with all the goodness coming your way.
Tomorrow is gonna be a great day. Especially if you start it out by stopping by the Farmstand.
