Just a couple people showed up to grab the new at midnight... Easily the most people who have ever been in the store by double. We're sold out of the LP, CD and walk in the park 7" and have about a half-dozen drop dead singles left for Friday (like, daylight Friday).

On July 18, 2025 Congress voted to rescind $1.1 billion in funds allocated to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.

Locally, this rescission created a $600,000 operating fund shortfall for fiscal years 2026 and 2027 for .3, our only regional National Public Radio station, operating since 1958.

In addition to carrying ’s superb news and arts content, WYSO produces 15 unique music programs featuring hand-selected music from songwriters and bands that reach across genres and frequently feature local musicians. WYSO has recently launched .fm, a 24/7 streaming music channel, curated by local people for a local audience. Novaphonic has quickly become my go-to source for discovering new music to bring into the shop. This is too valuable a resource to our community to risk loss or lessening of the content and services they provide.

Beginning Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 we committed to donate 10% of gross sales from the first Saturday of every month to WYSO. You guys spend the most on Saturdays and we wanted to ensure we could maximize the impact of a donation while also including as many of our beloved customers as possible in the effort.
