2 acres of soybeans, 1 acre of clover/chicory, and a half acre of radish on the table for this season. Still out here taking care of the wildlife every chance I get, good luck to everyone out there!

Game cameras sure have made a big jump
In quality over the years! With the leaves blown off this plot several weeks ago, the clover has made a big jump in growth.

Of course Ole’ Tom has to make his presence known down in there as well!

There has been multiple local sightings along the Highway W, Y, and JJ areas. Here is a more clear picture on the same day, on a different farm 2 miles away, 12 hours apart. Many deer carcasses found in the recent weeks as well.

A mountain lion is not what you want to see while checking cameras! Northern Lincoln County, MO.

Trucks pulling campers and side by sides have littered the Missouri highways this week, gas stations busy with fellow hunters headed to deer camp, filling up their tanks and coolers.

Do me a favor? Take a brief minute to say thank you to our veteran’s for affording us the right to pursue these annual activities that we so greatly cherish, but often forget that they aren’t guaranteed.

As you head out to your favorite hunting spot this weekend, make sure to let a friend or family member know exactly where you’ll be and what time they should expect you back. Know what you are shooting at, and may everyone return safely!
