Trinity Pet Sitters

Purrlease keep your fur kids safe! 🖤🎃🐈‍⬛

The new dog comes home on Saturday, and the cat has no idea yet. 🧡

Most homes with both settle into peace, and the slow start is the reason. Smell first, then a gate, then short meetings with the dog on a lead, while the cat always keeps a way out and somewhere high to sit. A dog who stares stiffly at the cat needs more time, not more meetings.

Slow is how they end up friends. 💛

Save this for the week the dog arrives. 🐾

If a second cat is coming home soon, the first meeting matters more than most people think. 🧡

A rushed first meeting can leave two cats wary of each other for months. Shelters and cat charities recommend the slow way instead: separate rooms, shared smells, then meals on either side of a door, so each cat learns the other means food and calm before they ever touch noses.

Slow now is faster later. 💛

Save this for the day the new one arrives. 🐾

Sixty-four thousand hertz: the top of his hearing, three times higher than yours. 🧡

Every spec comes with a test you can run tonight. 💛

Start with the treat bag. 🐾
