Solving problems is about design, it's about deep thought, and sometimes, it's not all about code. Art is like a programming language for emotion, for feeling and purpose. And Bentrice is one of Trenton's excellent artists and thinkers. Check it out!

Trenton Makers Day 2016 Description

Coding for Community was a huge success - over 100 municipalities from every corner and core of Jersey, and dozens of eager technologists and designers together with sustainability advocates and government representatives all in one room!
But there's a new challenge. We actually generated more projects than we had people - so it's up to us, techies and visionaries, to join up with more teams and make their dreams a reality. Register to be on a team today and check out the current proposed projects and find your team! About $10,000 in prizes and a savvy, sustainable Jersey are on the line.

Code for Trenton - Join NJ's capital in "making awesome!" Get more details about Wiki Loves Monuments (we'll be doing some photography work and some editing, too, this day). Also, the meetup may run longer than 1pm - we're happy to be there for you

Wikipedia has opened their contest and submissions are only being accepted in the USA this month.
This is an opportunity to add historic or unheralded monuments/ locations to their database as well as adding or updating any Trenton associated Wikipedia pages in the process. All of us at Code for Trenton will be happy to help you submit your excellent photos!
The Capital City's Wikis are in good shape, which includes Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wikitravel & Wikivoyage, etc.
Some little things to drive tourism and contribute to our city's online presence. There are many excellent photographers in the city; best of luck and rules are in the link. We may organize a September photography/ writing meetup around this. Stay tuned . . .
