We couldn't ask for better weather for our Learn to Row and Learn to Scull today! It was great getting some new TACR members out on the water. A big thank you to all our volunteers, coaches, and coxswains who made this happen.

Last weekend TACR volunteered at the Bayshore Marathon. A big thank you to all the rowers who donated their time to help the runners stay hydrated! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏽‍♂️

One of our dear rowing friends Kjirsten (KJ) Boeve needs our support. On May 2nd, her husband Dave suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. He is currently in the ICU at Munson where he’s being closely monitored. Please keep this wonderful family in your prayers. You can follow their progress through the Care Page created.

If you are able to help financially the family has created a Go Fund Me page to help with the mounting medical expenses. Dave will progress to an acute rehab hospital which will require the family to travel to support him.

Our focus might be getting back on the water, but Concept2, Inc. is still going strong with two May challenges.

Mindful May Meters - row at least 1000m a day for as many days as possible in May. Concept2 will donate money in support of mental health awareness month

Marathon and Century Challenge - complete a full or half marathon or century row between May 1st and May 15th.

Sarah and Kristi completed a full marathon - 42,195 m! Who else is participating?

The first boat of the season hit the water tonight. Coach Heather and her crew did not let the cool weather deter them. It's good to be back!
