This week is going to be HOT. Be sure to water your lawn in the morning, it keeps the turf cooler during the hottest parts of the day which means less stress on the grass. A wet lawn at night is the perfect condition for fungus to grow.
Drought+heat weakens grass, making it more susceptible to weeds and insects.

It’s time to treat your grubs!
Grubs can wreak havoc on your lawn. Not only can they damage grass and foliage, but animals which feed on grubs can cause tunneling, pitting and holes. The must common culprits in our area are skunks, crows and raccoons.
There are different products available to deal with grubs, and they are dependent on the season. If you missed the spring treatment, summer treatment happens now, around the 4th of July.
