At the Benzie Conservation District, we are on a mission to preserve and enhance the water, land, and natural beauty of our region. We love where we live, we are passionate about what we do, and we are committed to empowering landowners, lake associations, and our whole community to make lasting environmental impacts. Together, we are creating a future where all residents and visitors of Benzie County are inspired and well-equipped to protect our natural resources.

We’re thrilled to reveal Benzie Conservation District’s brand new logo! Our fresh look, designed by Chelsea Bay Design, is both a welcome to new friends and a reintroduction to old partners.

🌳 Expanding on 81 years of service

Over the past few years, our community has blossomed, and we’re growing with you. We’ve taken this as an opportunity to reflect on who we are to our community and what conservation means in Benzie County. The result is a fresh, bright look that expands on 81 years of being your partner in conservation.

🌎 This is where you come in

Our previous logo’s water + leaf symbol represented two of our focus areas (water and land), but at our core, our work is possible because of YOU.

Our new logo invites you in through a sense of place. In it, you are looking out at your favorite lake, at rolling farm fields, and at pristine forests all at once. Importantly, the focal point is a white pine—our state tree stands for everyone in Benzie and beyond.
