The new edition of TR Traveler is just out--and I have a newly revised historical article in it about local NASCAR connections. It includes photos from Daniel Crowe, shooting for Contec of Spartanburg, which sponsored a car this year.

Historical theme this Friday

Sorry to be so long in posting here, but we've been busy with a new business venture to keep a landmark building here in TR under local ownership and operation, while also keeping it as a local music venue. Some details here (I'm sure you'll recognize the building).

Starting a whole new thing here in downtown Travelers Rest--a CoWorking Space!
We're doing a soft opening--just a section at a time--and want our friends in TR to have the first opportunity to join us before we go fully public.
If you're interested, come take a look upstairs--our first section will be opening very soon.
Your opportunity to get in on the "top floor" :)

Showing spaces daily as requested, so let me know here if you'd like to drop by for a quick tour of the first coworking area to open in the center of TR.

Richard back in the day, at Greenville-Pickens.

Last Friday I noticed that a building with some history to it was quietly being demolished on Main Street TR, behind Kramer's small houses. Anyone else know the history of the little building in the back?
