With finals just around the corner, Teachers of Towson would like to invite you to our prep meeting and winter festival this Thursday, December 4. This will be our last meeting for this semester. Come and chill with us while we prep the books to showcase for our fundraiser. Coming to this meeting, you will get a service hour opportunity. See Teachers of Towson outside the front of the University Union on December 5th to get your hands on a book. All that we make from sales will be going to the Kids in Need Foundation. We will be tabled in front of the Union from 10am-2pm. We will have some books to sell, so please come on down and take a look! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Just wanted to come on here and remind everyone about our food drive. You may have noticed some boxes around Hawkins Hall and the Psychology Building. We are asking for donations for The Hub here on campus. The Hub needs support right now and we are hoping these items can be as a support for them and for other students on campus. If you cannot donate, that’s okay! We would appreciate spreading the word and telling other people about the boxes and their meanings. All the information about what donations we are taking is in the flier.These boxes will be set-up until next Monday, so if you have anything at all to donate, do so now! Thank you everyone again!

Guess what’s right around the corner? Blind Date With A Book! We will have a prep meeting for this event on December 4, so if you have any books you would like to get rid of and give to a nice home, feel free to bring them! There are small requirements for what we would like donated to give away:
📚the book has to be college/young adult
📚not apart of a sequel unless you are giving away the full series
These books will need to be covered so put on your creativity hats for how you want your cover to look. The prep meeting will be a service hour opportunity. Thank you!

Teachers of Towson is hosting a bake sale! We will be set-up in front of the University Union this Friday the 21st. All baked goods will be labeled with their ingredients and if it’s gluten-free. Everyone deserves a sweet treat before finals coming up and we want to make sure everyone can get some delicious baked goods. If you would like to donate some baked goods, reach out through a comment or DM us directly. We will be in front of the Union from 10-2! Enjoy the rest of your week!

Come and join Teachers of Towson this Thursday where we be hosting a pizza party for you to mingle with Towson University alumni. You will be able to ask questions and learn about how they are doing outside of Towson. Make sure to bring your own drink to the meeting. I hope y’all had a great halloween celebration weekend!
Last Thursday, we celebrated our annual fall festival! There was food, coloring pages, costume contest winners, and a spooktacular movie night!
Our lovely costume contest were:
🧡VP Maya for her scary Jack Skellington Costume
🧡Treasurer Melissa for her creative Hershey’s kisses costume
🧡Co-community chair member Illiana for her teacher coded witch costume
While at the meeting, we also decorated our donation boxes for our food drive and blind date with a book! The boxes are scattered around Hawkins Hall and the Psychology building! Donate please if you are able or spread the word about the boxes! There will be more information coming out soon on the specifics for the food drive and blind date with a book so be on the lookout.
