Loch Raven Branch Library

The Loch Raven branch opened on May 13, 1968 and is accessed via a 100-foot bridge across a stream. The Loch Raven library is the only BCPL branch to have won a design award: Architect Robert Randall Fryer Sr. The branch was closed beginning in 1993 for several years due to budget cuts but was reopened in June 1998 as a mini-library and, in 2013, was restored to full service in its original building.
