It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William R. Shike, Jr the founder of Valley Processing, Inc. He passed away peacefully in his home on July 31, 2021. He was 92.

Bill started Valley Processing in 1968. The business grew steady over 53 years and today employees a staff of 18.

Bill fully retired from Valley in 2009 but always kept his love and interest in the company. It was his true hobby and passion.

The PPE has been placed by the Christmas tree with care, in hopes that Santa will soon be there. And we hope that Santa will wear a mask, sanitize his hands, wear a pair of gloves and clean his area with disinfect wipes before he leaves.

The 2020 Form W-4, Employee's Withholding Certificate, is substantially different from previous versions of the form. The IRS revised the form to comply with the income tax withholding requirements in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

The form no longer uses the concept of withholding allowances to account for additional income, deductions, and tax credits, but includes lines where employees can enter those amounts directly so they can be used to calculate the withholding amount.
