Debbie Disney's PCC Center introduces Positive Camp

SUPPORT GROUPS!

We are very excited to be starting our next 6 week round of support groups beginning on January 6, 2020. Support groups have so many benefits including: realizing you are not alone, gaining hope, stress reduction, expression of feelings, learning new information and skills, and so much more. We will be offering the following support groups:

- What, Me Worry? (Adult - Anxiety) Mondays at 7pm
- When Getting Pregnant Just Doesn’t Happen (Adult
Women)Mondays at 8pm
- Mindfulness and Calming Strategies (ages 10-14)
Tuesdays at 4pm
-Social Skills (ages 6-8 co-ed) Tuesdays at 5pm
-Social Skills (ages 10-12 co-ed) Tuesdays at 6pm
-Social Skills (ages 13-14 tween girls) Tuesdays at 7pm
-Making Peace with Food (ages 14-17) Fridays at 4pm

Join Jennifer Lutz, LMSW for a two-hour interactive workshop focused on coping with grief, loss, sadness, and/or change during the holiday season. Jennifer will discuss the stages of grief, as well as the effects of grief on brain functioning. She will discuss coping strategies and how to manage the pressures of holiday traditions.

This workshop will be held on December 4, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm in our Positive Changes Learning Center at 8415 Bellona Ln. Suite 115 Towson, MD 21204. The cost of the workshop will be $75 per person, out-of-pocket and due at registration.

The Positive Changes Learning Center is starting support groups next week November 4! Groups will be 6 weeks in length and new groups will run each 6 week session. The cost is $240, out of pocket, for the full 6 weeks. We are offering support groups for the following areas:

Living with Mood Disorders (Adults)
What, Me worry? Anxiety (Adults)
Social Skills (groups for ages 5-7, 8-10, 11-13)
Making Peace with Food (groups for ages 14-17 and 18+)
When Getting Pregnant Just Doesn’t Happen (Adult)
Mindfulness and Calming Strategies (groups for ages 10-13, 14-17 and 18+)
Coping with Grief and Loss (Adults)
Caregiver First Aid (Adults)

We are excited to offer the first of our Parent Education Series: Parenting a Child with ADHD on November 14 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Rikki Spiegler, LCSW-C, ADHD Certified Provider will be facilitating this interactive workshop. The fee for Parent Education Series is $75 for the 2 hour program.
