Hi Hummingbird Friends!
Popped out for the Torrington Juneteenth Celebration with Our Culture is Beautiful yesterday for one of our first outings as a family of four that didn't involve a doctor's appointment. Torrington really knows how to put on a celebration 🎉 Mike and Zoe even got in on the drumming action!
Afterward, we wandered down to Brinx Coffee Ct for lunch and to try their Cherry Blossom Latte. Wowza—it was honestly one of the most delicious iced lattes I've ever had.
The icing on the cake was introducing our little guy to our Hummingbird space and getting excited about all the programs, gatherings, and magic still to come for our little business with a big heart—both within these walls and far beyond them.
We also wanted to pop in and send our love because today marks a special milestone: the 10th anniversary of launching The Hummingbird Cafe and our 7th anniversary in our cozy little space on Main Street.
For now, though, we're soaking up this sweet newborn bubble a little longer, knowing just how quickly these days pass ❤️.
Stay tuned.

Check out this crafty get together with our downstairs neighbors Tina's Cafe' 38 🎨.
Hey Crafty Friends,
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night! It’s going to be really warm, but not to worry — the A/C will be on. ☀️❄️
Please comment below if you’ll be joining us, and don’t forget to bring a friend along!
We meet at Tina’s Cafe 38 (75 Main Street in downtown Torrington) almost every Tuesday night from 5:30–7:30 PM.
Everyone brings and works on their own projects. We started with just knitting 🧶 and crocheting, but over time we’ve had friends doing scrapbooking, cross-stitching, adult coloring, card making, and more — everyone is welcome to join us!
While there is no fee to participate, we do kindly ask that no outside food or beverages be brought in, as we do offer both here at the café. That said, no purchase is required to join us.
We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow night!
