درود به مردم شجاع و با غیرت ایران.
آهنگ «کف تهرانیم» رو پنجم دسامبر ۲۰۲۲، حدود سه سال و یک ماه پیش، بدون اسم خودم منتشر کردم؛ فقط برای همصدا شدن و انرژی دادن به مردم کشورم. اون زمان، مثل خیلیهای دیگه، فعالیت و اعتراض من بیشتر تو خیابونها بود تا توی فضای مجازی.
امروز دوباره مردم به پا خواستن؛ این بار برای معیشت و زندگی.
من الان توی تهران و کف تهران نیستم، ولی دلم با مردممه. با هموطنام که هنوز حق آزادی بیان ندارن.
برای همین، بدون توجه به عواقب و بازخوردها، سعی میکنم صدای مردمم باشم…
به امید ایرانی آزاد…

Salute to the brave and honorable people of Iran.
I released the song “Kafe Tehranim” on December 5, 2022, about three years and one month ago; without my name on it, simply to stand with my people and give them strength. Back then, like many others, my activism and protest were more in the streets than on social media.
Today, people have risen again, this time for livelihood and for life itself.
I’m not in Tehran or in the streets of Tehran right now, but my heart is with the people, with my fellow Iranians who still don’t have freedom of speech.
That’s why, regardless of the consequences or reactions, I try to be a voice for my people.
In hope of a free Iran…

فیلم «یک تصادف ساده» به کارگردانی استاد جعفر پناهی رو همراه با خود کارگردان در لسانجلس تماشا کردیم.
اثری سیاسی، تلخ و صادقانه در نقد خشونت و سرکوب جمهوری اسلامی. فیلم با بیپردهترین زبان ممکن، از شکنجه، ترس و انسانهایی میگه که بیدلیل شکنجه شدن و وطن براشون فقط ترس و وحشت داشته.
جالب بود که استاد پناهی در روایتش از واژهها و دیالوگهایی استفاده کرده بود که واقعیت تلخ جامعه رو بدون هیچ فیلتر و سانسوری به تصویر میکشید.
خود کارگردان هم در سالن حضور داشت و بعد از نمایش فیلم درباره روند ساخت و مفهوم اثر صحبت کرد.

We watched “It Was Just an Accident” directed by Master Jafar Panahi, together with the director himself here in Los Angeles.
A powerful, raw, and honest political film — a bold critique of the violence and oppression under the Islamic Republic. It speaks about torture, fear, and the people whose only “crime” was having their own ideas — in a homeland that gave them nothing but fear.
What stood out to me was Panahi’s fearless storytelling — using real, unfiltered language to show the painful reality of society.
He was also present at the screening and shared deep insights about the film’s process and meaning afterward.
