A large porch is a beautiful thing. Have you ever looked up and noticed sagging in these areas? Many shore towns (Asbury Park, Sea Girt, Brielle, Point Pleasant, Seaside Park, Manasquan, etc.) have beautiful historical homes with large covered porches. We visit them every day and 9 times out of 10 we look up and notice a sag. It’s not supposed to be like that! It’s an indication of tired old bones that need a structural facelift to ensure structural stability! Reach out and give us a call

Thank you Matt Rembish from Imperial Design Services!
Sagging floors upstairs prompted a call to us from this home owner. Further inspection revealed a woefully under supported structure. I suspect there are many others in this development with the exact same problem. Here it is after its been correctly repaired. The beam that runs parallel with the stairs has been changed into a quadruple LVL beam. The existing joists are now hung on that beam properly. That beam now bears on two other heavy duty beams on either end.
