EVS has collected over 600 lbs of food for our community. The food went to The Church of Grace and Peace in Toms River.

Congratulations to Rafael, the newest BSA Summit Award recipient of Venturing Crew 129 of the Jersey Shore Council!! Rafael, your continued dedication to the Scouting and Venturing programs (even away in college) and your commitment to serving the veterans in our community at the American Legion is inspiring… and having a front row seat seeing it all happening is just priceless!
Thank you Melissa, Jerome, Melissa, Maria and all the leadership at EVS 129 for your tireless and selfless support for these kids!!

Rafael, tu continua dedicación a los programas de exploradores y aventurero (aún en la universidad) y tu compromiso de servir a los veteranos de nuestra comunidad de la Legion Americana son inspiradores… y tener un sitio en primera fila viendo to pasar simplemente no tiene precio!

🏕️ We are proud to share that 2025 graduate Carolina Rivera-Colón has earned the prestigious Summit Award, the highest recognition in the Scouting America Venturing program. Carolina’s achievement is a reflection of her exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to personal growth.

As a member of Venturing Crew 129, Carolina led an impactful community project titled "Barnegat Bay Buddies" in partnership with Save Barnegat Bay. Her work included creating educational cartoon characters to help local youth understand the importance of watershed protection and environmental stewardship.

Carolina’s Summit Award Court of Honor will be held on July 26, 2025. We congratulate her on this outstanding accomplishment and are proud to see her continuing to lead with purpose and creativity beyond her years at Donovan.
