Why is newborn photography “expensive “? There’s so many tiny things that one doesn’t even think about when booking a Newborn session or inquiring about prices. I can guarantee nobody is asking me how much my light tube cost. This little thing cost me $65 plus tax, but it is essential in a professional. Studio that uses studio lights. This is part of the formula that gives me my butter, soft professional lighting. Interesting fact: in 2017 when I purchased my studio lighting, I purchased two spare bulbs, so I’m unboxing this bulb from 2017. So technically this is my first unboxing video lol .
New fear unlocked for photographers. That light bulb is $65 plus shipping when it blows. That’s one of the reasons why professional newborn photography ain’t cheap! It lasted me from 2017-2024 so it was worth the investment but I better not mess this up.

The wood wall in the studio needs an update… I’m thinking of going dark and moody ❤️ I already have a dark charcoal stain but hesitant to just go for it. Should I wood stain it in a charcoal ???????

This baby is THREE years old now 🥰🥰🥰 . My clients from a few years ago just purchased goodies from their baby's newborn session. Thank you to baby Graham's family ❤ It was nice seeing his sweet baby face on my monitor as I was editing this week!

kinda... What I mean is this newborn session was photographed 2 years ago and my client just purchased a digital package this week. Don't be embarrassed to order from your newborn session years later!!! I've had clients order products from sessions 10+ years ago and I'm not judging!!!

My favorite season for photographing newborns is the Christmas season. Kasen is a November baby so that's basically Christmas, right? Also... Don't let him fool you. He wasn't asleep... he was only blinking and was super frisky after this shot 😁❤
