Should you let it all dry out and energize? NO ❌
❗PLEASE do not energize your flooded equipment until it has been thoroughly inspected, the consequences could be 💲expensive AND dangerous.
💧Breakers that have been underwater WILL have corrosion within the Mechanism and any electronic components such as the Trip Unit or Control Devices.
🔴 Should an over-current situation arise, corrosion within the mechanism may prevent it from opening.
⚡If corrosion has occurred in the trip unit and it calls for a trip event, the breaker may not be able to open causing the current to continue flowing into a fault scenario.

🔸GE 600 VAC, 1200 Amp HPC (High Pressure Contact) Switch complete with 120VAC Shunt Trip to be used with a CPS provided 120 VAC Ground Fault Monitor Panel and Relay.
🔹Unit was brought into our 20,000 square foot facility and taken down to individual nuts and bolts.
🔸Once a 1980’s vintage switch, now shipping to a customer in like new condition.
