FLASHBACK: I was so blessed to get to photograph this gorgeous couples elopement here at our very own South Mountain. The wildflowers were in bloom and it was just such a gorgeous day! A great reminder weddings can be amazing and not be expensive 💕

When you meet your soulmate all you want is to spend the rest of your life on this crazy adventure together. This sweet couple had so many ideas for eloping and Covid of course through a wrench in so many plans. Finally a day was set and the planning began and yet again life through some curves. Who knew so much of the area would be closed do to wildfires?! Yet they kept with the plan and adapted and we ended up having an amazing time in Christopher Creek! We met a sweet guy who let us use the creek on his property and apparently got a visit from a local bear crossing the creek while we were taking photos! I hope they have many beautiful years together

I wanted to take a moment to be vulnerable and candid. Share a bit about my heart and why photography has so much of it. There have been many moments since I’ve picked up my camera that have been beautiful and inspiring. Many incredible people I’ve been blessed to meet and share moments with. Some, sadly, no longer with us. I am so very grateful for each and every one of them.

This moment right here is the moment I realized exactly how much photography fed my soul.

Our lives are so busy and chaotic between work, family, and social obligations it’s easy to lose track of time. Easier still to forget to make time to just breathe and revel in the partner you’ve chosen to go through this journey with. I’ve been guilty of it myself.

But we truly need these moments. Significant moments where time stands still. Where we can dance through a field of wildflowers as the sun sets. To connect. To remember how in love we are and to treasure each other.

This is my why. Moments like this.

Summertime in Arizona is always so HOT !!🥵 I felt it was a great opportunity to remember this amazing elopement from this past December. Sedona is one of my FAVORITE locations and again it didn’t disappoint. We spent the morning in Tlaquepaque taking photos. The beautiful architecture and artistic places were a great place to start the day.

Sometimes in life you have the ability to meet a couple who exemplifies such a deep love it impacts your life in a meaningful way. This was one such couple. What a fun way to celebrate too!

Sometimes life puts the perfect person in your path. The one who truly gets you. Who will stand by you through the good times and the bad. The one you can be yourself with. Act silly. Laugh during commercials or cry in front of. The person that holds your hand when you have to do something tough. Or holds you close when you feel like your falling apart. They ride through the journey of life with you and beyond 💕

Sometimes you just need a little time to revel in each other. Especially before a cute little squish comes into the picture! A photo shoot can be a beautiful location or cozy and intimate like this awesome shop!

Let’s talk GROOMS! Let’s face it so much of the wedding day is kinda all about what the brides want. From colors to details to the dress and flowers - the bride usually picks it. BUT the time we do photos with the groom and his mates is the time for personality to come out. I always tell my clients to let that be the time they shine. From favorite team jerseys to ci**rs or favorite hobbies all can be ways to show your uniqueness.
