🖤❤️💚 Honoring Juneteenth ❤️💚🖤

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. Observed on June 19, Juneteenth marks the day in 1865 when enslaved people in Texas learned they were free—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

At Unison Health, we believe that understanding one another, embracing diversity, and fostering belonging help create stronger, healthier communities for all.

Today, we honor the past, celebrate progress, and look forward with hope.

🖤❤️💚 Happy Juneteenth. ❤️💚🖤

💚✨ Unison Health was proud to participate in the Wood County Su***de Prevention Coalition's Glow Walk on Friday evening. ✨💚

Events like the Glow Walk remind us that su***de prevention takes an entire community working together to create awareness, reduce stigma, and connect people with support before a crisis occurs.

A special thank you to the Wood County Su***de Prevention Coalition for their ongoing leadership and commitment to educating our community, supporting survivors, and promoting hope. Their work helps ensure that conversations about mental health, depression, substance use, and su***de prevention continue throughout the year—not just during a single event.

In a county as large and diverse as Wood County, community partnerships like these are essential. They help people know they are not alone, that recovery is possible, and that help is available.

Thank you to everyone who attended, walked, volunteered, shared resources, and stood together in support of mental wellness and su***de prevention.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available 24/7. Call the Wood County Crisis Line at (419) 502-HOPE (4673).

🌟 Thank You Thursday! 🌟

This week, we are recognizing Jenna Hogrefe, Crisis Stabilization RN at our Crisis Stabilization Unit in Bowling Green.

Jenna was recently noticed taking the initiative to scrub bathroom floor tiles one evening after seeing they needed attention. No one asked her to do it—she simply saw a need and stepped up.

That kind of dedication isn't unusual for Jenna. Time and time again, she willingly pitches in wherever needed, tackling tasks that may not fall within her job description and doing so with a positive, team-first attitude.

Her commitment to providing exceptional care while supporting the overall needs of the unit reflects the very best of the Unison Way.

💙 Thank you, Jenna, for your compassion, teamwork, and willingness to go above and beyond for both our patients and your coworkers. You are truly appreciated!

Please join us in celebrating our Lucas County OhioRISE Care Coordinators, Joelle Wilson, Aireal Clinton, Deidra Pless, and Carrington Ellison, on successfully completing OhioRISE Intensive Training. Pictured with OhioRISE Directors Cassie Walker and Catashia Haskins, these dedicated team members have completed advanced training designed to strengthen their ability to support youth and families with complex behavioral health needs.

OhioRISE (Ohio Resilience through Integrated Systems and Excellence) helps children and adolescents with significant behavioral health challenges access coordinated care, supports, and services. Through family-driven planning, collaboration across multiple systems, and a focus on individualized care, OhioRISE helps youth remain successful at home, in school, and in their communities.

By completing this intensive training, Joelle, Aireal, Deidra, and Carrington have further strengthened their skills in advocacy, care coordination, and family engagement—helping ensure youth and families receive the support they need to thrive.

Congratulations on this accomplishment, and thank you for your dedication to making lives better every day! 💙

🎉 A Major Milestone Worth Celebrating! 🎉

Please join us in congratulating Unison’s Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) teams on an incredible achievement: all three IHBT teams successfully passed their fidelity reviews in 2026!

Fidelity reviews help ensure services are delivered in accordance with evidence-based best practices. Passing fidelity confirms what we already know to be true—our teams provide high-quality, compassionate care that helps youth and families build stronger, healthier futures.

Since launching in Fall 2024, Unison’s IHBT program has:

✅ Expanded to 5 counties, with 2 more coming soon
✅ Served more than 110 families
✅ Grown to include 11 licensed therapists, 2 QBHS staff, and 3 dedicated teams
✅ Made a meaningful impact on youth, families, and communities throughout Northwest Ohio

This accomplishment reflects the dedication, professionalism, and heart our IHBT staff bring to their work every day.

Congratulations to our entire IHBT team on this well-earned success. We are proud of all you have accomplished and grateful for the lives you continue to change.
