Strange times selling real estate during a pandemic! In case you’re in the market or in a current transaction, agents, Lenders, and title companies are developing workarounds and reducing personal interactions to continue moving things forward.
Real estate transactions are proceeding, albeit with different processes. I’m doing virtual tours and walk-throughs on FaceTime, Inspections are proceeding with extreme social distancing and only essential parties, and all transaction paperwork completed with electronic signatures.
I expect inventory to contract further as sellers hold off on listing their properties. Buyer activity remains strong for individuals not invested in equities and taking advantage of price reductions.
Be smart – use online sites to shop for homes and work with an agent utilizing all available technology.
