We were desperately in need of socks this winter, and Christ the Savior Church delivered! HOPE For All has received a record number of clothing requests this year, and the church's donation of socks came at the perfect time. These socks will be going out the door and onto the feet of people who really need them in the coming weeks. Feeling so blessed by this community support as we serve our neighbors together!

From their beginning, Anglicans have believed that the living Word of God alone contains all things necessary for salvation. This was the view of the Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Cranmer, martyred for his faith in 1556 who once said, “let us night and day muse, meditate and contemplate the Scriptures. Let us ruminate, and (as it were) chew the cud, that we may have the sweet juice, spiritual effect, honey, kernel, taste, comfort, and consolation of them.”
How wonderful to think of the Bible in such terms: sweet juice, honey, taste, and comfort. When we see God's word, the Bible, in these terms, our love for the Bible and our desire to read it increases and the Scriptures become a treasure for us. - Rt. Rev. Julian Dobbs.

Brothers and sisters,
By Friday Maryland will be opening up quite a bit, including the allowance of churches to meet in person. As much as we are chomping at the bit to get back together, we have decided that we will hold off on that until phase two is in effect. That phase is designed to indicate that there are no longer any spikes in COVID cases because of the first phase. Besides which, it will allow us the opportunity to make plans for how we will implement technology into our worship. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call Justin.
