I have been an insurance agent for 8 years, and I specialize in Medicare planning and coordination, helping individuals, business owners, HR teams, and advisors navigate how Medicare fits with group coverage, retiree benefits, and long-term planning. I spend a lot of time guiding employees from employer health plans into Medicare the right way, without confusion or costly missteps.
I decided to get into insurance after helping clients as a financial advisor navigate IRMAA and going through my mom’s Medicare journey with her. I saw how confusing and high-stakes these decisions really are. That’s what led me to focus on bringing clarity to something people can’t afford to get wrong.
One of the most common mistakes I see clients make is waiting too long to make a decision, or assuming they can “figure it out later. With Medicare, timing is everything. Missing enrollment windows or choosing the wrong path early can limit your options down the road, sometimes permanently. I see people accidentally lock themselves out of better coverage simply because no one explained the consequences up front.
I wish every client knew that with Medicare, it’s not just what you choose—it’s when you choose it. Timing mistakes can follow you for years.
