The organizations seeing the greatest impact from AI aren’t just adopting new tools—they’re ensuring their technology strategy is ready to support them.
💭 What do you see as the biggest challenge to successful AI adoption in your organization?

Why AI Strategies Fail Without an IT Strategy First - Hartman Executive Advisors Wondering whether organizations need an AI strategy or an IT strategy first? Most AI initiatives fail because the IT foundation underneath isn't ready. Here's how leaders can tell which strategy their organization needs now, and why sequencing matters.

We’re continuing to grow at Hartman Executive Advisors — and we’re looking for leaders who believe technology is ultimately about people. 🌱
At Hartman, our work goes far beyond strategy, governance, and IT leadership. It’s about building trusted relationships, helping organizations navigate change with clarity, and showing up for our clients in meaningful ways every day.
We’re proud of the culture we’ve built — one rooted in collaboration, support, humility, and genuine care for both our clients and each other. It’s one of the reasons so many of our advisors say Hartman feels different.
If you’re looking to make an impact alongside a team that values relationships as much as results, we’d love to connect.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and selflessness made freedoms we enjoy possible — and their legacy will never be forgotten.
This Memorial Day, we extend our deepest gratitude to those who served, those we lost, and the families who continue to carry their memory forward. 🇺🇸

Last week, our team had the opportunity to lead an AI workshop for a construction industry peer group in one of the more unique settings we’ve experienced yet — an active construction site in Baltimore.
What made the conversation especially meaningful was the openness around both the opportunities and challenges leaders are navigating as AI continues to evolve. Together, we explored practical ways organizations are driving value with AI, the importance of thoughtful governance and guardrails, and how leaders can approach emerging technology with both strategy and purpose.
We’re grateful to Builders, Construction, Builders, and Construction for the engaging discussions, warm hospitality, and opportunity to connect with such a thoughtful group of industry leaders.
A special thank you to Czajkowski and Kerr for continuing to lead these important conversations and representing Hartman so well through relationship-building, thoughtful leadership, and industry expertise.
