Timnath is getting a community recreation center!

Thank you to all of the town staff and community members who worked so hard to get us to this point.

Based on current election results, ballot measure 3A has passed, paving the way for our new recreation center! A heartfelt THANK YOU to the Timnath community for your support of this initiative. Your voices and votes truly matter!

We can’t wait to kick off the design process, which will take place throughout 2026. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to create a space for residents to play!

Bring your questions and voice your comments or concerns in a casual setting.

Keep Timnath children in Timnath schools.

In April, Town Council passed a resolution urging the Poudre School District to maintain school boundaries that respect the desires of most Timnath residents, keep Timnath neighborhoods together, and keep Timnath children in Timnath schools. Although PSD abandoned larger plans to consolidate schools district wide, they are still contemplating redistricting options that would filter some Timnath students west of I25 and away from Timnath Middle-High.

There are three opportunities this week to learn more about these plans and to provide input that Timnath children should remain in Timnath schools.

The safety and well-being of our community is paramount. By implementing 24/7 police coverage, we are taking yet another significant step forward in ensuring that Timnath remains one of the safest places in Northern Colorado.

Timnath Police Moving to 24/7 Staffing Starting July 1

Starting July 1, the Timnath Police Department will transition to 24/7 staffing to enhance the safety and security of the community, continuing its partnership with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office for dispatch support. This move comes in response to the 2018 Citizen Survey, where public safety was identified as a priority, and residents expressed the need for expanded police coverage. The successful recruitment of additional officers has enabled the implementation of this round-the-clock service, reflecting the Town's commitment to maintaining Timnath as one of the safest places in Northern Colorado.
