Tilton Economic Development Committee

Time Table Mable located on East Main Street across from Cumberland Farms has been restored. It now displays a functioning water fountain complimented by lighting at night.

Beautification is just one aspect of the Economic Development plan for Tilton. We also like to recognize and honor our Veterans by displaying US flags which are placed for Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

One of very first spring projects was placing these flowers boxes along the walkway by River Front Place and Tilton Island. DPW Highway Director Kevin Duval constructed these beautiful boxes and the flowers were planted by volunteers.

The Tilton Island Bridge is closed because of safety issues. This historic bridge is the only one of its kind left in the country. We are working on restoring it through various grants. We appreciate everyone's patience while we work to get this bridge back into service.

The Selectman plan to hold a public meeting to update residents on the status of the bridge and get feedback. Stay tuned for the date!

One of our TCEDC goals is to make the downtown more vibrant and user friendly. We are working on getting a QR code that will provide information on municipal parking locations, restaurants, businesses, and events that are happening in the downtown.
We are also working on providing more seating for residents and visitors.
