We were just contacted about a underweight dog infested with fleas in the Randle WA area. Now we usually only accept dogs from kill shelters but since this isn't terribly far from us we'd be open to it if a few things can happen.

Meet Princess! 🩷

Princess is a 5-year-old, 50-pound pit bull with a heart as big as her smile. She’s a sweet, goofy girl who absolutely loves her toys and is highly motivated by both treats and play, making her a fun companion and eager learner.
Princess came to us after previously living with an unhoused owner. While she can be a little timid when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her gentle, affectionate personality to shine through. Once she trusts you, she’s a total sweetheart who loves being part of the family.

Princess can do well with dog-neutral animals when properly introduced. She does have a high toy drive, so she would not be a good match for a home with another animal that resource guards toys. Her enthusiasm for toys also means she can get a little overzealous during playtime, so we recommend a home with children age 10 or older.
Whether she’s making you laugh with her silly antics, playing with her favorite toys, or settling in for some affection after a day of fun, Princess is ready to bring plenty of personality and love to her forever home.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, playful companion and can give Princess a little patience while she gets comfortable, she may be the perfect addition to your family.

Meet Pepe! Pepe le pew was rescued from euthanasia by BAMM and is currently living his best life in Washington state with his wonderful foster. Pepe is full of energy and keeps his fosters busy entertaining him or keeping an eye on him! He’s super smart and loves his play dates with other doggies!!

🐾 MEET BEANS! 🐾

Meet Beans, a big, goofy, affectionate boy who absolutely loves his people! Beans was saved from euthanasia in Texas and is now under the care of BAMM Rescue while he waits for the right forever family to find him.

Beans is approximately 5 years old, 65 pounds, and an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is neutered and has completed a board-and-train obedience program. This handsome guy already has an impressive list of skills: he is house trained, doggy-door trained, crate trained, and walks well on a leash.

🏃 Beans is an active guy!

Beans has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active person or family. He loves playing fetch, getting exercise, and—believe it or not—running on both dog and human treadmills! We think he could be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys running, exercising, or simply spending lots of time being active with their dog.

When the activity is over, Beans is an incredibly affectionate dog who loves his people. He can get excited when his favorite humans come around, and sometimes his enthusiasm gets the better of him! Typically however, he is fairly mellow!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids 10+ would be a great fit.

Beans is phenomenal with people and could do very well in a home with children 10 years of age or older. His age recommendation isn't because of aggression—Beans simply doesn't always realize that he's a 65-pound dog! When he gets excited, he could accidentally bump into or knock over a younger child.

🐕 Beans would be happiest as your one-and-only pet.

Beans has demonstrated that he can successfully coexist with other dogs, particularly females. However, his history hasn't always been easy. His previous owners experienced periods of being unhoused, and Beans has been attacked by other dogs in the past. There have subsequently been situations in which Beans has reacted when he perceived that another dog was challenging or threatening him.

Because we want Beans—and his future family—to be successful for the rest of his life, we are looking for a home where Beans can be the only dog. We should not he is not reactive to other dogs in public unless that dog is reactive.

🐱 Absolutely no cats or small animals.

Beans is not an appropriate match for a home with cats or other small animals.

❤️ Beans' ideal home:

• Active person, couple, or family
• Children approximately 10+
• No other dogs
• No cats or small animals
• Someone who enjoys exercise, running, fetch, and spending time with their dog
• A family ready for a goofy, enthusiastic, affectionate companion who will be thrilled every single time they walk through the door

Beans has already survived circumstances that no dog should have to experience. Now he's looking for something much simpler: a safe, stable home, plenty of exercise, and people of his own to love.
