3rd Div PNR

We got to hang with the Wednesday Afternoon Consortium of Krazy Operators yesterday (WACKO).
These crazy train guys meet weekly to talk trains, among other things. Heck they might even run something on a layout! 3rd div has a little somethin’ somethin’ for everyone.

Trains & Coffee June Edition was a hoot. We gathered at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ontario. A terrific room with lots of space. Thank you to the church for allowing us to use their space.
Join us in August as we are skipping July because first Saturday falls on the 4th! 🇺🇸
We visited and talked Trains. Drew and Leo brought some HO gear to Checkout and Joel showed his rural Z scale layout.

It MIGHT be time for you to consider S gauge!
Pros:

2. You can work on them!
3. Not overly expensive.
4. Friendly S gauge modelers!

Our 4th Saturday Lunch & Layout tour took us to visit the Caldwell Model Railroad Club & Historical Society in Caldwell, ID. A tremendous bunch of hospitable modelers who know how to show you a good time.
They are working on some new modular pieces to take to run out display situations. We saw huge progress on the their N Idaho mining district and enjoyed the fine detail work on the HO scale layout.
The newer second level of the N scale layout deserves note as well. Great to see this healthy club continue to flourish. Pay them a visit as you are able.
