Nordic Flower

These flowers are celebrating a new little life. That is one of my favorite things about my job, I get to be a part of people’s big life moments through my arrangements. Flowers are an expression of our emotions.

Spring birthday flowers from a husband to his wife. My parents are so cute. My dad has always been good about spontaneously buying my mom flowers. It’s what first made me fall in love with flower giving. 💕

If you know me you know I LOVE texture. It makes for a much more visually interesting bouquet. Must be from growing up in the northwest rainforest. We have such a diversity of plants, trees and rocky formations that create a visual feast for the eyes. 😍

Haven’t posted in awhile. A year ago I felt the need to find a job in a flower shop. That was a good decision too because we had no idea the year we were going to have. A year where most weddings got postponed or majorly scaled back. I’m back though and excited to share a small wedding I had the privilege of doing at the coast today.

What creates passion? Is it purely physical attraction? Watching this couple, I think theirs comes from a mutual love for the outdoors and being adventure buddies for life...but I’ve also really been impressed by the way they really respect each other better then most. They both want to love the other person well and study each other, wanting to know how the other person loves to be loved on. Doing, not what they love, but what the other person loves is what I believe to be one of the biggest keys to this couple’s passion. 📸Ilumina Photography
