At its heart, the Festival of Balloons exists to give back — supporting nonprofit organizations throughout Oregon while creating a premier event everyone can enjoy.

📊 EARLY RESULTS: Early election results show Tigard voters are overwhelmingly rejecting the City's $150 million Police and Public Works bond by a nearly 2-to-1 margin.

Throughout the campaign, the measure faced heavy criticism for its size and price tag. In our conversations at the polls and around town, the overriding sentiment from residents was clear: "tax fatigue" has set in.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt when a box truck, carrying a load of milk and juice for area school districts, lost control and crashed on the I-5/271 flyover. According to the Tigard Police Department, nobody cried over "spilt milk" :-)
