📊 EARLY RESULTS: Early election results show Tigard voters are overwhelmingly rejecting the City's $150 million Police and Public Works bond by a nearly 2-to-1 margin.
Throughout the campaign, the measure faced heavy criticism for its size and price tag. In our conversations at the polls and around town, the overriding sentiment from residents was clear: "tax fatigue" has set in.
💬 What are your thoughts on these early numbers? Let us know in the comments.

What happens when a local writer gets the chance to interview their literary hero?
In this beautiful guest essay—available exclusively on our website—writer Stephen takes us on a reflective walk through Tigard's Cook Park. Whether you're an aspiring writer, a lover of local wildlife, or just someone who appreciates a brilliantly told story, this piece is a perfect weekend read. 🌿📖

We’re working on a story for our May edition about these devastating scams, which frequently target seniors in our area. Just recently, a local resident lost $98,000 after calling a fake "Microsoft Support" number that froze his computer screen.
We want to know how widespread this is in our community:
• Have you or a family member seen these alarming pop-ups?
• Did you recognize the trap, or did you call the number?
• What tactics did the scammers use?
Help us warn others. Share your experience in the comments, send us a DM, or email us at [email protected].
