The annual cookie exchange for ARE staff members is coming up this week! If you would like to contribute something yummy (homemade or store bought), please add your name to this Google Sheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iXyWH0MkIQgGUo_SixBkJkL_bCmz4c7QAEjYlTDr7RU/edit?usp=drivesdk) and drop off your items by 10am on Thursday, December 4!

Our annual Staff Cookie Exchange is coming up on Thursday, 12/4! If you’d like to contribute, please add your name to the Google sign-up sheet attached. Cookies, bars, candies—all sweet treats are welcome, both store bought and homemade.
Please plan to provide 2–3 dozen items and drop them off by 10:00 AM on 12/4.
This event is one of the Alberta Rider staff’s favorite traditions. Let’s make this year extra special. Thank you for sharing your delicious creations! 🍪✨

Reminder! Poinsettia orders are due THIS FRIDAY!
Alberta Rider PSO is selling vouchers for poinsettias from Al’s Garden Center. Each voucher costs $18 and can be redeemed for one plant at Al’s starting November 18. Vouchers will be available for pick-up at ARE on November 14 and 17. Each plant is 15”-17” in height with 6+ blooms. Several colors and varieties to choose from. Voucher may be redeemed at any Al’s Garden Center location. For every voucher sold, $7 goes directly to the PSO to help fund field trips, classroom resources, reading aides, and more.

Wear your comfies, bring your blankies and pillows, and join us for a FREE movie night in the ARE gym!
Popcorn will be free for everyone. Pizza, cotton candy and water will be available for purchase!
We will be watching the 2025 version of How to Train Your Dragon.

Stock the Breakroom is a new PSO initiative for the 25-26 school year.
Help Us Fuel Our Amazing Staff!
Our teachers and staff work hard every day to support and inspire our students, and we’d love to help keep them energized with snacks and drinks! The PSO is collecting treats and caffeinated beverages to help keep their spirits (and energy levels) high. Next time you’re at the grocery store, consider grabbing an extra box of something yummy. Donations can be dropped off at the front office all month long. Thank you for showing your appreciation and support for our incredible team!
Each month will be sponsored by a different grade.
4th & 5th: Oct, Jan, April
2nd & 3rd: Nov, Feb, May
Kinder & 1st: Dec, March, June
Suggested donation items:
Chips, pretzels, popcorn, fruit, sparkling water, coke/diet coke/sprite, Keurig or Nespresso Vertuo pods, flavored creamer. *We are especially low on Nespresso Vertuo pods, carbonated beverages, and chips*
