Portland City Roses Netball Club

We have a new group of people who are interested in starting a netball club. Right now we are meeting at Portland Heights Park on Wednesdays at 630pm to meet, train and get the ball rolling. Come and join us!

Event tonight is cancelled due to lack of interest.
Will be on next week at the earlier time.

Netball starts up again on the 19th of May at 5pm.
See you all at the practice facility.
$35 for the month or $10 per session.

Thank you to everyone who came along to play and support Portland City Roses at their first ever netball tournament

Thank you to everyone who came to the Battle in Seattle Netball Tournament last weekend! We were thrilled to be joined by our friends from San Francisco Stars, Vancouver Comets, Vancouver Meteors, Vancouver Checkers, and a brand new club from Portland - Portland City Roses! Emerald City Netball Club also fielded 3 teams.The day was sunny and warm with plenty of great sportsmanship and fun, friendly competitiveness all day long. The day culminated with with the 2 main rivals, Vancouver Comets and Seattle Needles, meeting after both teams had gone undefeated in the previous round robin games. In a game reminiscent of the 2015 Netball America USA Open Championships in Dallas, TX, a fantastic battle ensued. Vancouver Comets came away victorious and also the Champions of the Tournament. Congrats to everyone who played in the tournament and a big THANK YOU to all of the umpires, officials, and volunteers on the day! Everyone was able to put their feet up at the end of the day and enjoy a well earned burger and beer as we relaxed in the shade at Marymoor Park.
