What incredible day at the library! 🌊🐠

Our library friends had the opportunity to learn about and get close to Yellow Stingrays during the Odean Odyssey Stingray Touch Tank Experience presented by the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium!

We will have a full house, but we are really excited to have the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium and some water-loving friends at the library! 🌊🤍

We had the best morning of painting!! 🥔🎨

If you need a super simple, inexpensive, and fun craft that can last for hours, grab that old bag of spuds hanging in your cupboard and get to painting!

We used different cookie cutters and a paring knife to cut out the shapes, but you can use forks, spoons, and much more to make super fun designs!

Our printing services will be suspended until further notice, as we are transitioning to a brand new color printer! Super exciting!!! We will update everyone when new printer is installed!

Book club selections 2026 Part ✌️

We’ve got some great reads picked, but we are even more excited for the great company! 📚🤍

Join us the last Thursday of each month (unless it falls on a holiday!) at 6:00pm in the Adult Reading Room!

We got our illustrating skills going this morning with the fabulous Bucky Jones, and we even beat the rain!! 🎨🖌️

As part of the United States’ 250th Anniversary Celebration, the guild is donating more than 250 quilts to veterans, and we’re honored to display a selection of these beautiful creations. Each quilt showcases the skill, care, and generosity of the talented quilters in our community.

A special thank you to Beth Cullen, member of the Springmier Library Board, for helping bring this wonderful exhibit to the library.

The quilts will be on display through early July before heading to the Iowa city Public library for their “Red, White, and Blue” Quilt Show on July 10th and 11th.
