INVISIBLE BATTLES part 2
Depression: I’m Not Okay
Maybe you’re exhausted.
Not physically.
Soul tired.
You’ve smiled. You’ve pushed through. You’ve told everyone you’re fine.
But you’re not.

You don’t have to carry this alone.
The darkness may be loud right now, but it doesn’t get the final word.
There is hope.
There is help.
And there is a God who sees you, even when no one else does.
You’re not weak.
You’re not broken.
You’re not alone.

🙏Loving Your Neighbor: Simple Steps for a Connected Life🙏
“Bringing the Kingdom to Your Street”
Hey church family! In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected, Jesus calls us to a different rhythm: to truly love our neighbors. As Galatians 5:14 reminds us, “For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” This isn’t about grand gestures, but about small, intentional acts of grace in our everyday lives. So, this week, let’s lean into these practices:
• The Ministry of the “Slow Walk”: Leave five minutes early, walk slowly, and create space for a genuine “hello” with those around you.
• Learn the Name (and the Story): There’s profound dignity in being known. Take the time to learn your neighbor’s name and listen to their story.
• The “Extra Portion” Rule: When you’re making dinner or baking, make a little extra and share it. It’s a simple gesture that says, “I was thinking of you.”
• Offer a Specific Hand: Instead of a general “let me know if you need anything,” offer concrete help: “Can I grab you milk from the store?” or “I’m mowing my lawn, can I do yours too?”
• Pray for the Peace of the Street: As you go about your day, pray for the homes and families in your neighborhood. You are a priest in your community, and your prayers matter.
These simple practices are how we become apprentices of Jesus, bringing His Kingdom goodness into the dark and lonely spaces right around us. Let’s be a church that loves well, 👍🏼 Jesus!
Galatians 5:14 (NIV):
“For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
This week, let’s take on the way of this truth. It’s about becoming the kind of people who naturally bring the goodness of the Kingdom into the dark and lonely spaces of our own streets. It’s not about being perfect, but about being present, unhurried, and intentional in our love.
