⚔️ Hear ye, hear ye: Renaissance Fair season is here!

Over the last few months, participants in The Studio’s “Medieval Mode” series brought fantasy to life — creating handmade costumes, dragon wings, pirate gear, cloaks, wands, chainmail and more.

Participants learned new skills, built confidence and prepared for the Colorado Renaissance Festival in style. 🐉🧵✨

Learn more about the series and creators by reading our blog post: https://www.anythinklibraries.org/blog/the-studios-medieval-mode-series-helps-participants-get-renaissance-festival-ready/

Owner and operator of SVF Coffee Bar, David Granda, credits Anythink’s makerspace and its staff for educating and empowering him to grow his business. He’s used The Studio to make company T-shirts, key chains, stickers and even the wooden logo now displayed on his coffee cart.

“Each one of those pieces has helped me to bring my coffee brand to life,” he said. “[The Studio] has a been a great resource for my brand, and it can be a great resource for other small businesses,” Granda said.

The Studio Specialist Hannah Cline agreed, saying the makerspace can give entrepreneurs a place to start, offering access to technology and guidance from knowledgeable staff.

“A lot of people have wonderful ideas, but they don’t necessarily have the tangible skills to bring them to life,” she said. “[The Studio] can be a really good place to get your feet wet in a low-pressure, low-cost environment.”
