This weekend’s forecast is calling for sunshine, and our littlest calves have one thing on their minds… SWIMMING! ☀️🐮💦
There’s just one tiny problem. The pool is set up, the swimsuits are ready, the goggles are on standby, but our well has looked at the size of that pool and said, “Absolutely not.” 😅
So we’re wondering… does anyone have, or know someone who has, a water truck that might be willing to help us fill an above-ground pool out at the farm? We’d be happy to discuss costs, trade coffee for water (okay, maybe not a fair trade 🤣), or whatever it takes to get these calves splashing.

Happy Heifer-versary!

One year ago today, we unlocked the doors to The Caffeinated Heifer.

If we’re being honest, this wasn’t exactly our plan. It was God’s.

There were moments when we couldn’t see the path ahead, moments when we wondered if we were crazy, and moments when all we had was faith that He knew what He was doing. Looking back now, we can see His hand in every step of this journey.

A year later, we can’t imagine being anywhere else.

What started as a coffee shop has become something so much bigger. It’s become a gathering place. A place for friendships, celebrations, meetings, laughter, tears, prayers, and more cups of coffee than we could ever count. It’s become a cow-moo-nity.

To every customer who chose to spend a few dollars locally, every friend who shared a post, every family member who pitched in, every person who believed in us before we fully believed in ourselves—thank you. You have made this first year more meaningful than we could have ever imagined.

A special thank you to the folks who help us serve up more than just coffee. Phoenix Roasters for the beans that fuel our mornings. Humble Creations by Allison LLC, Patty's Corner, Elemy's Bagels, Flava SNOB, and all of the incredible makers, bakers, creators, and dreamers who help make this little corner of Main Street special. Your talents and partnerships help our entire cow-moo-nity thrive.

And we can’t forget our favorite group of world changers—the gentlemen in the front window. Day after day, they gather with cups of coffee in hand, solving the world’s problems one tall tale at a time. We haven’t quite figured out how much progress they’re making, but they sure make us smile.

This past year has taught us that coffee is important, but people are everything.

So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for welcoming us into your lives, your routines, your celebrations, and your stories. Thank you for choosing local. Thank you for supporting small business. Thank you for helping a crazy God-sized dream become a reality.

Here’s to one incredible year of great coffee, no bull.

It’s Monday, and we’re kicking off the week with open play Mahjong from 9-11 AM, plenty of coffee, and all the cow-moo-nity goodness you’ve come to expect. Our pastries and breakfast burritos should be moseying into town by 9 AM, so if your Monday motivation needs a little extra help, we’ve got you covered.
We’re bright-eyed and… well… maybe not quite bushy-tailed yet. 🤪 But we’re working on it one sip of coffee at a time while we craft yours!
You’ll also spot me reppin’ some of my favorite downtown neighbors today. My sunny sunflower earrings were handcrafted by the talented Nicki at Rabuns Rustic Creations 🌻, and this hat is giving a shoutout to Jeff and Gunnar over at Alleycats This & That. Around here, we believe it takes a village—and we’ve got a pretty great one right here in Thomson. ❤️
And speaking of celebrations… this week marks ONE YEAR of The Caffeinated Heifer being part of downtown Thomson! 🎈🥳 We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than spending the week with the herd that made it all possible. So grab a mocha, join a Mahjong table, shop local, eat local, and let’s party all week long!

Have y’all ever caught a sunrise over downtown Thomson? It’s udderly spectacular! And before anyone starts hollering that it’s AI magic, don’t worry—we’ve got the real photo too. Sometimes Mother Nature just shows off a little. 😍

While most of the town is still hitting snooze, Main Street is already moo-ving. The farmers market vendors are setting up their booths, your favorite heifers are pulling fresh banana chocolate chip muffins from the oven and brewing up the coffee, and we’ve already spotted a few locals getting their morning steps in before the Georgia heat cranks up.

There’s something special about a Saturday morning downtown. The smell of coffee, friendly faces, local vendors, unique shops, and neighbors catching up—it’s the kind of cow-moo-nity we love being part of.

Here at The Caffeinated Heifer, we’re pretty passionate about promoting our little slice of small-town heaven. We think Thomson is a pretty udderly amazing place to live, work, shop, eat, and raise a herd, and we love sharing that with everyone who passes through.

That’s why we wanted to give a big shoutout to Dudley Nurseries for the fantastic THOMSON, GEORGIA display along I-20! Every time we drive by, we can’t help but smile, and we’re excited to watch it continue to grow and fill out. It’s a beautiful welcome mat for everyone coming into our cow-moo-nity.
