What do we actually need to change a life?

When Jesus sent out His disciples, He told them to go without a bag, sandals, or a purse. He didn't send them with extra baggage or luxury items—He sent them with a mission.

In the same way, we don't need fancy things to do God's work. Steeples, classrooms, chapels, and even our Sunday morning coffee are wonderful tools! But they aren't the foundation of our faith or our ministry.

What we have truly been equipped with to change lives isn't a building or a program—it’s just a few choice words of truth, love, and grace.

👑 KINGDOM QUEST VBS — FINAL DAY RECAP 👑

That's a wrap on the most incredible week, Thomson! 🎉 And what a way to finish it off!

Here's how Day 4 went out with a BANG:
⚔️ A knightly scavenger hunt for a full suit of armor — epic doesn't even cover it
📿 Made salvation necklaces — a beautiful reminder of God's love they can carry with them always
📖 An amazing Bible lesson to close out the week strong
💃 AND THEN… the moment we had all been waiting for — THE PERFORMANCE!

Our kids got up in front of their parents and guardians and absolutely DELIVERED. Every dance move, every lyric, every bit of confidence on that stage — we could not be more proud. 🥹

🌋 VBS DAY 3 RECAP — The Volcano, The Sand Art & THE BIG FINALE ANNOUNCEMENT! 🌋

Three days in and these kids are absolutely on FIRE! 🔥 Day 3 at Kingdom Quest VBS was one for the books — and we saved the BEST news for last, so keep reading!

Here's what went down today:
💃 The dances? LOCKED IN. These kids have got the moves and they are ready to show them off!
🎨 Sand art craft — gorgeous, unique, and every single one is a masterpiece
🌋 Went deep into a VOLCANO — wild adventure energy all day long
❤️ Learned about Jesus' incredible love for us — and y'all, the kids FELT it today

⚡ VBS DAY 2 RECAP — And it was EVEN BETTER! ⚡

Y'all, if Day 1 was incredible, Day 2 turned it up to a whole new level! 🙌 More kids, more energy, and MORE unforgettable moments!

Here's what went down today at Kingdom Quest VBS:
🎵 Learned a brand new song — and they already love it
👟 A slow motion race that had EVERYONE in tears laughing
🌿 Jungle Exploring Adventure Games — wild and SO fun
🎨 Another amazing craft in the books
📖 Learned about Jesus walking on the water
🧠 And some of these kids ALREADY have their Bible verse memorized!!

That last one? Okay, we are not crying, YOU are crying. 😭💛

Day 1 brought great kids. Day 2 brought even MORE — and we have a feeling Day 3 is going to be absolutely incredible.
