“The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him. The Lord is good to those who hope in Him, to the one who seeks Him.” — Lamentations 3:24-25 💛

In a world that constantly tells us we need more, God reminds us that He is enough.

This past Sunday, June 14, our Praise & Worship Team, Chosen, led us in the worship song “Healer” — a powerful declaration of faith that says, *“I believe You are my Healer. I believe You are all I need. I believe You are my portion.”* 🙌

What a comforting truth. Our hope is not found in having all the answers, controlling every situation, or knowing what tomorrow holds. Our hope is found in Jesus. He is our strength when we are weary, our peace when life feels overwhelming, and our source of hope through every season.

No matter where you are today—celebrating a victory, waiting on a prayer, facing uncertainty, or simply looking for direction—God invites you to trust Him. He sees you, He loves you, and He is faithful.

At CrossPointe Community Church, we believe there is hope, peace, and purpose found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are a welcoming, non-denominational Bible-based church family where people come together to worship, grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and encourage one another.

Whether you've been attending church for years, haven't been in a while, or are searching for a church home for the first time, you're invited. 🤍

Pastor Terry Ray 06/14/2026 sermon "God of Details"-- CrossPointe Community Church in Texas City, TX 06/15/2026

God of Details

You ever feel like your life is just a bunch of small, ordinary moments that nobody really notices? This past Sunday, Pastor Terry reminded us that God is not just the God of the big moments — He is the God of the details.

Matthew 10:28-33
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

God knows you better than you know yourself. He knows when you sit down and when you get up. He knows your thoughts before you even speak them. He sees every worry, every tear, every quiet moment of doubt — and He cares.

He’s not distant.
He’s right there in the details of your everyday life.

Powerful Examples from Scripture:

• Your hairs are numbered — God pays attention to the smallest things about you.

• Sparrows — Not one falls to the ground without Him knowing.

• Joseph’s story (Genesis 37-50) — God was with him through betrayal by his brothers, being sold, false accusations, prison time, and eventually rising to power. Every single step mattered.

• Jesus on the cross — Even in His final moments, He made sure His mother was cared for (John 19:25-27). That’s how personal our Savior is.

Pastor Terry put it this way: God is sovereign over the universe, yet He’s intimately involved in the tiniest parts of your life. He sees it all.

Practical Takeaways:

1. Give up your worries — He already knows what you need.

2. Reframe the details — Start looking for God’s hand even in the small, ordinary things.

3. Trust in the details — He is working in the parts of your story you can’t see right now.

4. Personalized love — God’s care for you is specific and personal.

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — Psalm 34:1 🎶🙌

There are plenty of things in life that come and go—circumstances change, seasons change, and challenges come when we least expect them. But one thing remains constant: God is faithful.

This past Sunday, June 14, our Praise & Worship Team, Chosen, led us in the joyful song “Never Gonna Stop Singing.” It's a celebration of what happens when we remember who God is, what He has done, and the hope we have because of Him. 💛

Not because life is always easy.
Not because we always have the answers.
But because God is good, His love never fails, and He is worthy of our praise.

No matter what kind of week you've had, God invites you to come to Him just as you are. Whether you're full of joy, carrying burdens, asking questions, or simply looking for a church family, there's a place for you here.

At CrossPointe Community Church, we are a welcoming, non-denominational Bible-based church family committed to worshiping God, studying His Word, and encouraging one another as we grow in faith together.

03/22/2026 Pastor Rodgers “Limiting God: Stop Putting Your Faith in a Box” CrossPointe Texas City 06/12/2026

“Are We Limiting God By Our Small Thinking?”
Pastor Don Rodgers | CrossPointe Community Church, Texas City, Texas

On Sunday, March 22, Pastor Don delivered a powerful message titled “Are We Limiting God By Our Small Thinking?”.

He challenged us with this question: Are we limiting God by our small thinking?

We often unintentionally put God in a box through:
• Our timelines
• Our past experiences
• Our human reasoning
• Our small prayers
• Our small thinking
• Our comparisons to others

The truth is: God’s power is not limited by our understanding, but we limit what He can do in our lives because of unbelief.
When we stop reducing God to what we’ve seen, experienced, or think is possible, that’s when breakthrough comes. Having faith simply means taking the matter to God and trusting Him for the impossible!

Key Scriptures:
• Ephesians 3:20 – God truly wants to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine!

• Matthew 19:26 – “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

• Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

“You Were Made For a Mission”- Purpose Driven Life series

June 7, 2026
Pastor Curtis Roque | CrossPointe Community Church

Hey church family! If you missed Sunday, Pastor Curtis brought a great word from our Purpose Driven Life series. He reminded us that God created each of us with a purpose — we’re made for a mission.

Here’s what he shared:

1. Your Mission Starts with God’s Heart
“When he saw the crowd, He had compassion on them” (Matthew 9:36).
“The Lord is patient… not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).

2. Your Mission Flows Through Your Story
“They overcame… by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11).

Pastor Curtis encouraged us that our past struggles aren’t wasted — God can use them to give others hope in Jesus and show that real change is possible.

3. Your Mission Requires Your Yes
“Let it be unto me according to your word” (Luke 1:38).
“Faith without works is dead” (James 2:17).

It was an uplifting reminder that God wants to use our lives and our stories for His glory.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” — 1 John 3:1 💛

So many people carry labels from the world, past mistakes, heartbreak, failures, or seasons that made them question their worth. But through Jesus, our identity is not found in our past — it is found in being loved by God and called His child. ✨

This past Sunday at CrossPointe Community Church, our Praise & Worship Team, Chosen, led us in the powerful song “Child of God” — a reminder that no matter what we face in life, we are never alone and never forgotten by Him. 🙌

Whether you’ve been attending church for years, haven’t been in a while, or are searching for a place to belong, you are welcome here. CrossPointe Community Church is a welcoming, non-denominational Bible-based church family where people come together to worship, pray, grow in faith, and encourage one another through every season of life. 🤍
