Growing our own food was never about pinching pennies. It began with a passionate desire to know exactly what we are nourishing our bodies and souls with, and sharing that same love and care with our family and friends.

We envisioned providing our loved ones with food that is pure, high quality, and as close to nature's perfection as possible. We aspired to be wise stewards of the land God has graciously entrusted to us, using it in harmony with His divine plan.

For us, gardening, raising our own food, baking from scratch, and embracing simplicity are all integral parts of a greater vision—to live and eat in a way that glorifies God and nurtures the well-being of our family.

Although it may not always be the easiest journey, we firmly believe it's a rewarding one.

These English muffins didn’t last long around here!

This week they became the most delicious homemade Egg McMuffins for breakfast and the cutest little English muffin pizzas for the kids. Soft, flavorful, perfect for busy family meals and so fun for the kids to make at sleepovers!

There’s something special about having one simple homemade staple that can turn into so many easy meals throughout the week.

Fresh milled garlic & herb loaves cooling on the rack. Made from freshly milled wheat berries and baked this morning for a soft, flavorful loaf that’s perfect alongside dinner or sliced for sandwiches.

Working on today’s pick-ups

Bread is rising and cooling, English muffins are getting ready for the cast iron pans, cookies are in the oven, and the house is full of that beautiful chaos (kids included).

I’ll post an update when everything is finished and ready.

Orders are open for pickup while spots last—once I’m at capacity, I’ll have to close it for the week so everything stays fresh and manageable.

Today is one of those flour-covered, oven-running, dough-on-the-counter kind of days.

I’ve got a full baking day ahead getting everything ready for tomorrow’s pickups, and I’m looking forward to seeing it all come together.

Also it’s time to restock our kitchen goodies and tend to the gardening it’s getting out of control
