1 Peter 4:4 NASB20 — In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them in the same excesses of debauchery, and they slander you;

You’re not meant to fit in but to be separated. Keep walking with Christ.

Proverbs 12:18 NASB20 — There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword,
But the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Choose to be the voice that heals today. Speak life. Speak grace. Speak words that build up, not tear down.

John 9:15.. And he said to them, “He applied mud to my eyes, and I washed, and I see.”

We were made from dust and will return to dust. You can have eternal life only through the washing of the blood of Christ. This revelation can only come through faith in Jesus.

Matthew 25:10 NASB20 — “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the groom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

Are you ready?

Luke 1:38 NKJV — Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

Zecharias in verse 18 is a picture of the lack of faith in God's promises. Mary is a picture of true faith. God's promises may seem impossible to us but there is nothing impossible with God.

Romans 13:10 NIV — Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

There are those who call themselves Messianic Jews, who are not even Jewish, will tell you that we are to obey the 613 laws the NT Jews followed. Jesus was sent by God the Father out of love therefore Jesus fulfilled the law. There are two commands to obey and that is love God with your whole being and love your neighbor as yourself. That's it. Simple, yet not simple.

2 Kings 16:3 NIV - ... sacrificed his son in the fire, engaging in the detestable practices of the nations the LORD had driven out...

When you look back at your family history you may realize there have been some messed people in your family. I know I do. Jesus had some messed up people in his family. Take King Ahaz for instance. King Ahaz's moral compass was broken. He went as far as sacrificing his own son to the idol Molec burning his son alive for sacrifice. Jesus may have bested you on this one.

Maybe you have considered the cost, but are you paying the cost daily? Have you given over to the Lord every area of your life? Does he have your mind, body, and heart? Are you carrying your cross?
