Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered and Bible-based 12 Step Recovery Program. The purpose is to focus on God’s healing power through fellowship with others. By working the 12 Steps and the 8 Principles. Small groups open up, share experiences, and explore hope. In this way, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our problems. In founder John Baker’s published testimony, he explains
“ After much prayer and advice from our Church, it has been decided we will temporarily close Celebrate Recovery @ FBC effective immediately.
Our foremost prayer now is that you will continue your journey at another CR. There are several around our area; please go online and check out your options.
Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.
This has not been an easy decision.
Let us pray for each other as we continue our walk with our Father. ”

My friend posted this picture this morning. When I saw it, I thought this was a good word picture. This is a good representation of what it looks like when you pray for others. Your prayers hold others up who don't have the strength to stand any longer. Your prayers hold those whose legs have been cut off by the world. Your prayers are the hands and feet of Christ to a lost and dying world.

Dinner starts at 6:15
Tonight’s dinner: Chicken salad, croissants, fruit salad, chips and dessert!
Large group ages 16 up starts at 7 pm
Small Groups ages 18 and up start at 8 pm
