COME ON MANNN (FJB voice) Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t understand “socialization” these days. I have so many questions about this: Is this normal behavior? How would you have handled it? Does this happen everywhere? Am I the only one who this this is rude? Who is benefiting from this interaction? I know the answers to all of these questions because I live it daily. It baffles me that this is acceptable for many people. I could talk for hours about how these types of interactions could potentially lead reactivity, aggression, fear, over-arousal, etc etc… For now, I’ll simply say, you don’t have to give in/feel bad and let people/dogs invade your personal space - this is NOT normal. How you tell someone to respect your boundaries is up to you but please don’t think you must let every entitled person do what they want, when they want. On another very important note, most of your dogs are counting on you to do something so step up and be a leader! IM NOT EVEN GOING TO MENTION THE “SERVICE DOG” VEST 🤦🏽‍♂️
