A 73-year-old man is working to raise awareness and money for childhood hunger by biking across the continental United States.

73-year-old cyclist rides cross-country to fight childhood hunger Mark Strauss, 73, is biking 3,400 miles across the continental U.S. to raise $1 million for No Kid Hungry. He left Newport Beach, California, on April 17 and is just over halfway to his fundraising goal to help provide up to 10 million meals for children.
